Idioms, Cartoons, and Humor
Description:
This is a collection of idioms I created between 1991 and 1994. They were simply created to poke fun at various idioms and language eccentricities. These were done in my various snatches of spare time.
I've unearthed these and scanned them in from xeroxes of the originals, which had been downsized to letter-size. Some of the original texture had been lost, but the humor remains.
Format:
These were drawn and inked with a combination of traditional pen and ink, as well as markers. Grays were created with illustration pencils and wax crayon-pencils. Where colored, these were done with colored pencils, then color-xeroxed. All were reproduced at letter-size. To create this PDF, these images were imported into Libris-Office, which lowered their resolution, but made their page size standard.
Methods:
Pen/ink, Illustrator pencils, wax crayons, b/w and color xerox
